Music, Meditation and Movement with Nick Harris

Join Nick Harris, from Portland, Oregon, for this special Saturday afternoon event.

This class will open with a guided meditation and once you're settled in, Nick will play guitar.  You will then work back up to standing for a vigorous asana practice folled by Nick playing guitar in savasana.

Yoga has been the element of life that allows Nick to harness a multitude of robust experiences into a practice based in gratitude, presence, and energetic flow. Nick’s classes demonstrate an understanding and appreciation for both beginners and seasoned yogis. When not teaching yoga, Nick can be found offering leadership programs, serving in houseless shelters, touring as a professional musician, and engaging special populations with positive messages of self-care and perpetual improvement. Through disciplined self-reflection and powerful daily self-improvement practices, Nick will arrive to class equally humbled and excited to share the yoga experience with you.

Nick is a 200 Hour Awakening Yoga Academy Certified teacher and is halfway through his 300 Hour Awakening Yoga Academy Certification. One of Nick’s most important goals with sharing the practice of yoga, is to be able to teach yoga in jail and prison settings, along with offering yoga teacher training in jail and prison settings.
